BB&T in Cumming, GA

I've been with BBT for ever. This has never happened at any other branch of BBT or Cumming location. On Friday, I did my deposit like usual, needing to get cash out, I give ID, and the lady at the window forgets to give it to me. I, of course didn't notice it went missing because usually they will stick it inside the envelope with your cash... So I just threw the envelope in my purse. I take cash out, and still assumed I stuck it back in wallet. So Sunday rolls around, and my bf notice's that my ID isn't in wallet. I, of course freak out... I tear my car apart, call the mall stores I was at Saturday, miss half of church to go to my apartment to look for it there. I was panicking. Couldn't find it anywhere... I waited Monday, took a half day off at work... Website and voice automated message says we are open at 9 am, Mon-Thurs, and Friday 9am-6pm. Drive thru opens at 830. Well. I waited till 9 to call.... no answer... 915 rolls around... no answer. 930 rolls around... no answer. I live in Dawsonville, and I know who works there. I call up to the location and Gary V. (A good guy. His daughter graduated with me), he answers. I explained my issues, and I guess he called the back line. They immediately answer. Gary asks them about my license and they said oh, yeah. It's here. I said oh good. I show up around 115 to get it. A lady with short, brown, blonde, whatever color her hair is... handed me my license. I asked to speak with the branch manager. She goes... Okay, what is this concerning. I explained that I left my license here. I wasn't contacted. What is your policy. She had a very bad attitude, smerky when she was talking to me, and when I finished explaining everything she goes... well okay. Hands me a piece of paper. No, have a good day or use good people skills. She just was very rude and snotty. I called literally 5 minutes from leaving, and a women Olivia answers. I ask to speak with Jennifer Weaver. She connects me... Jennifer answers. I explained what had happened. I let her know my concerns. She apologized. I get that and I'm not complaining or writing this review to get anyone into trouble. But she said she had no particular policy... just that she tries to contact the person. She said a women named Stacy called and let me know. They had my wrong number. But they had a home # and email they could of used. Home phone stays same. Hasn't been changed. Then the mobile phone could of been found but instead they didn't.. The branch employees are worried about their weekend so they forget something so important like that. I get that they are so busy, but several people I know have moved branches because nothing has changed. I find that hard to believe. But if this happens again, I'll be taking my business somewhere else.

Very shady bank. I don't advise anyone to use BBT. I had accidentally overdrafted my account by a few dollars. I received a notification but was unable to get to the back until after hours. I deposited the money at the ATM to cover fees and the amount. The next day I woke up to $108 in fees because my cash won't be "available" til Wednesday according to BBT. They don't care about there customers and have no interest in helping. They told me I should have deposited it earlier and need to deposit more to avoid more overdraft fees. Don't I repeat don't bank with BBT

Very poor customer service skills and this is at almost every branch that I have been to. The only branch that seems to be friendly and professional is the Dawsonville branch. I travel quite a bit and often have to stop at different BB&T locations. They don't have a public restroom for their customers. When you ask if they do, they look as though you've asked them for blood. I wonder if the owner of BB&T knows that their employees attitudes are so aweful.
