Ok so I'm big on reviews because I think they can be a helpful tool for people to use in their decision making process when trying to determine where they want to do business. The reviews I saw about this place looked good so I gave it try. My rating of this place is 2 stars for two reasons. I can now say that some (if not all) of the 5-star reviews I read are probably fake (reason #1 for the 2-star rating). There's actually no "staff" like some of the reviews claim. There's really just one guy in a tiny office. Which is fine but why lie and pretend like this is some big operation. When you think about it, it doesn't really require a staff of people to weigh gold and give you a price. Reason #2: you can get a decent price for your gold at this place but not the highest price as advertised. It doesn't hurt to go in anyway just to see what the guy tells you. Just know what your gold is worth before you go!! I absolutely recommend doing your research first to find out how much your gold is worth. Weigh it (in grams) on a kitchen scale. If you don't have access to a kitchen scale (many people don't), you can try using a scale at the post office. Put your gold in an envelope and weigh it on the self-service kiosk scale. It will give you the weight in ounces but you can easily convert to grams with an online conversion calculator. Of course remember to subtract the weight of the envelope. Once you know the weight, there are several online sites that will give you the $ amount that your gold is worth. At that point, you can shop around to see who actually gives you the highest price.
