GTE Financial - Sarasota in Sarasota, FL

Been with them for 8 years now, multiple auto loans, credit cards and a consolidation loan. Very competitive rates, easy to deal with and most importantly you can quickly get a human. They did go through a little customer service bump when implementing their new system but that has since passed. Was recently on a chat session with them on an auto loan where it got too complicated/long to type so they asked if they could call me. My phone rang immediately and the long winded issue was resolved. They now allow atm access via the Suncoast Teachers credit union which helps with the access as I don't live near a branch. And now their photo deposit app negates the need for an ATM.

No matter how long you have done business with them, you will always be treated like an unwanted house guest. The customer service at the Fruitville branch is condescending at best.

Horrible worst bank. There online banking is horrible the service I had to try and make the online banking possible was horrible. Calling coparate they where the nicest but still couldn't fix the problem.

Terrible service.....funky check policies, branch manager at Fruitville is very nasty. Felt like I was bothering her because the check policy didn't make sense. Holds on checks for long term customers - silly......I wasn't trying to cash it but to deposit it and was given a script about how the funds weren't going to be available and blah blah. Just weird.

I have not once had a problem with this credit union. Everybody has always been extremely wonderful to me. I wouldn't suggest anywhere else to keep your money safe.
