Launch Federal Credit Union in Palm Bay, FL

I used to enjoy going to the bank... and then I moved to Florida and opened up an account at Launch Federal Credit Union. Ever since then I DREAD having to go and deposit money! They don't believe in deposit slips so it's a game of 20 questions every time I go through the drive thru (that's after sitting for 5-10 minutes waiting on someone to finally come over to the window... I guess lobby guests get first priority, which is understandable, but sometimes there is nobody in the lobby yet I STILL have to wait forever). I get asked "what are we doing today?" Where I then say "deposit into checking please"... then I am asked "all of it?" And if I ever send over cash they say "how much cash is here?" The first time I was asked that question I didn't know why it was being asked so I said "however much I sent over!" I actually had deposit slips at first because they came with my checkbooks that I ordered and even though I would fill them out thoroughly, I would still be asked these questions. When I ran out of deposit slips and asked for more and they said "oh we don't use those here". I said "Well you should!" It's just a horrible experience every time I go. The other day I actually went inside because I had rolled coins to deposit. The girl asked me to put them into the window so I did and then she spread them out and then turned and said to another employee "can you come and count this? I'm too lazy"... REALLY??? It's not like it was 100 rolls. It was $36 worth of rolled coins. After today's trip to the drive-thru, I just felt the need to write this review. I pulled up, sent over my tube of money and nobody walked over to greet me so I glanced inside and an employee saw me looking in and got on the mic and said "she'll be right with you" and then leaned back up against the wall where she was standing... at least 5 minutes passed before I heard "Thank you so much for your patience what would you like to do with this check??"... A couple of weeks ago, I deposited a check from my bank account back in Tennessee and it went into someone else's account who's account number was way different from mine (which rules out a typo)... It was an ALL DAY ordeal just to get the money transferred into my account. I deposited the money because I had written a couple of checks and if they had both cleared that day I would have gone negative so I was trying to prevent that from happening but instead my money went into an account of someone else. 4 calls to the main branch in Merritt Island and a visit to the local branch in Palm Bay is what it took for them to finally fix their mistake. I should probably try going to a different branch to see if my experience there is better but that is hard to do since the next closest branch to me is 15 miles away... I am ready to find a new place to bank but am not going to rush into it because I want to make sure I choose one with less headaches than I experience with Launch.

I been banking here for almost 2 yrs and it is getting worse!!! I order checks I never get them!!! I ordered a new debit card it's been a month and still haven't received it. I call to find out what's the hold up they tell me (well we don't see an order!!) What??? I went into the bank myself was there for hours for a new card... I can't take it!!! I'm moving on!!! Thanks but no thanks!!!

The BEST bank EVER the loan specialist lady name sauna is AWESOME trust me, she's phenomenal go see her for anything she'll HELP YOU and gives GREAT advice too....

They charge 5$ for cashing a check drawn from their bank.. Greasy.. The lady said all banks do that. Not true. Not surprised they have 3 stars. Will not take checks from their customers anymore. Hopefully they switch to space coast cu.
