VyStar Credit Union in Ormond Beach, FL

Kept my banking with Vystar when I moved from Jacksonville to the Daytona area and can't be happier this branch is open.

The team at the Ormond VyStar branch is amazing. They truly understand us local Volusia County people.

To begin being a newly built Credit Union with high reputation, I've done much research and went with this credit union at this location that just opened unanimously on August 15. First and foremost I am blown away with first walking in right when they opened at 9AM. Greeted right away with almost all members that were working that morning. Built with profession, clean, simple, and secure! I then was greeted by a member there and proceeded to ask to know more about the credit union. I received plenty of informative advice with a branch tour as to why I should be a part of their membership. This branch is named in the News Journal as "The Branch of the Future" and it for sure is exactly on-point with it! Online banking with ease at the bank (or home), ATM & Branch security, super helpful members at your membership service; just to describe a few things of this branch of the future. For anyone who is interested in supporting the local community, this credit union is all for it and you should as well! You will not be disappointed!

Very slow. Everytime I have been to this branch I have to wait even if no one else is in there. Today was the worst. I had one person ahead of me. There were 4 people in offices 3 were helping people. I was told one person would see the lady in front of me and someone else would see me. The one who was supposed to see the lady before me told her just a minute. Then the person suppose to see me took the lady ahead of me. This was after waiting 20 minutes. Then the one that was suppose to see the lady told me she would be with me in a minute. During this time she stood up front with another employee greeting as a greeter (only one couple came in). They had an appointment and was told they were running behind so it would be a 40 minute wait. Once again she told me she would be right with me. After waiting 45 minutes or so I finally just left. There were 3 empty offices with just employee in them, only 1 of the 4 offices were helping someone. I was asked if I wanted to make an appointment. Sorry but no, the poor couple made an appointment and still were told it would be at least 40 minute wait. Sorry this is poor service. Even when slammed I have never had to wait that long at the St. Augustine or Palm Coast branches.
