My husband heard about American Consumer Credit on the radio. We had several reasons for wanting to exit these timeshares, we aren’t traveling as much because of our age. We are spending more time with our grandchildren, and the resorts nearby my families house, always seem to be conveniently booked up. We have been wasting money for years. I did NOT want to attempt this on my own, thinking that it would be a long, difficult, process based on what I’ve heard from other people. The one star post is because there is a no star. My experience with this company has been nothing short terrible. This is the second review I have posted, the first one I posted was about 4 months ago which was not good. They called me on the phone when they saw it and said they would get this resolved if I would take the post down. I did that in good faith, but evidently it is all lip service. I just sent another e-mail on 4/19/17 for the 3rd time in 3 months because there has been no reply to any of the previous ones. Long story short, because I want everyone to read the entire post. I was promised with my contract that my time share situation would be taken care of in 4 to 5 months. The contract I signed when I sent them $2,400 was money back guarantee if not resolved. It has now been 13 months, I have been very patient with them, but now it is time to get the whole thing behind me. As I live in Florida, I am going to Ormand Beach next week with all my correspondence to get my money back from them for not completing the contract. I will find another company that will do what they say they will do. By the way, go to their website and look at the BBB score for them. TERRIBLE!!!
