If I could give zero stars I would. This company has been nothing but issues since we started. They pre-qualified us and we began building our house. We asked and asked what amount and no one could tell us. We went to the design center and they had a certain number, so we built our house to that number. A month before closing we get a phone call saying we were not approved for the loan they gave us in the first place! We did EVERYTHING that was asked of us. Our agent told us to short sale our current house and just see what happens! I was in absolute shock when I was told that. We finally had to walk away from the house as there was nothing more we could do. A friend is going through worse issues with them. They found out 4 days before closing that their loan that already went through underwriting is no longer approved. They have to come up with $4000 to close. Thy were told to pay off one thing, and then when it backfired their agent went back and said he told them no such thing. They are fighting tooth and nail and in one week will be homeless if caliber continues to string them along. If you have a choice...go with ANY other mortgage company. It will save you a lot of frustration in the long run.
