University Credit Union in North Miami, FL

I really wanted to like this credit union. I believe in credit unions. The tellers are very nice, and the rates are good, but this credit union cannot keep to its promise to offer "world class service" because that's a lie. Its website is horrible. It is NOT user friendly at all, and often times I will click to navigate to another part of the site and it will stay on the same page. I'll have to close out and log back in again just to get to the page I wanted to (i.e., a waste of time). Today I called customer service and was disconnected 4 TIMES IN A ROW before I could get through. When I complained, did the customer service rep apologize? No - she was silent. I called on Columbus Day, forgetting it was a holiday, and was the ninth caller on hold -- for awhile, until I gave up. Only later did I realize that the bank must be closed, because there was no notice in the introductory voicemail about the holiday. In other words, those 8 other callers and I could have been on hold all day if we were such idiots to do so. The details I've mentioned here are what give a banking institution credibility and the ability to say it offers world class service. Sorry, FIU credit union. You get an F when it comes to customer service, with the sole exception of the tellers. The person in charge of customer service for the credit union (is there someone in charge?) better get their act together because as of today I've decided to move my money somewhere else. I've had enough. What a disappointment.
