POOR POOR POOR Customer appreciation and service. I really enjoyed this bank when it was Wachovia, loved everyone who worked there and they knew me personally. When it changed to Wells Fargo, it turned into complete CRAP. The "service manager" has a thing or two to learn about courtesy and treating your customers right. Due to an illness and me having to be out of town and unable to be there to balance our finance statement for my spouse, we were overdrafted NINE times in one day. This is an excessive amount and unusual for our account. We have direct deposit and were going to have a paycheck deposited into the account the day following the overdraft fees. We went to the bank to ask that they work with us, as the fees were in excess of $300. I know that it was our error but we were UNDER $100 overdrafted and being charged three times the amount. Like most people, we don't have $300 to pay in fees (considering we had money in a wells fargo savings account that could have covered the overdraft - unfortunately not connected to an overdraft protection set up. Instead of DECLINING our card (because I never signed anything stating otherwise) they continued to allow it to overdraft). We were told by the "Service Manager" that while she had the authority to reverse the charges, she couldn't justify doing so. WOW. I would have been happy for them to reverse at least ONE charge but she wouldn't even do that. I told her that if they couldn't help us, I would be closing all four of our accounts and soon to be closing a business account. She said ok. She was indifferent and uncaring and showed that she did not care about losing a customer. I will state that it was OUR ERROR and I take complete responsibility for that, but what happened to treating a loyal customer with courtesy? I won't be banking with them ever again. The credit union now has my business.

I've been with Wells Fargo Military banking for over 4 years now. Last week I cashed a check from work. I noticed a week later it still hasn't been deposited so I made a phone call. This branch decided to put a 10 day hold on my check without telling me. THEN, they proceeded to charge me $140 worth the overdraft fees for not having money in my account when my bills came out. I'm certain this is illegal in most states and I will be calling my attorney about it. When I called to take care of the issue I was passed around between a bunch of overweight incompetent morons that just kept regurgitating what is on a piece of paper. Next week I will be closing ALL of my accounts with this dirt bag company.

Great personable bank. They give you a small town feeling. Very cooperative and willing to take time with customers.
