Wells Fargo Bank in Jacksonville, FL

They did a hard credit pull to open a business account when they told me that it was not going to be a hard credit pull which affected my credit score. I have been banking for 6 months now and never received my $100 promotional money to join. I do not recommend banking here.

Was misled by a banker and teller to believe that I was pre-approved for a credit card and all they needed was to confirm a few pieces of information to find my credit limit. It turns out I was not pre-approved but they instead made a credit inquiry without my permission and told me that I was "invited" to apply for a card, not pre-approved. Dishonest retail banking tactics. I feel this branch lacks integrity standards. very disappointed in how I was treated. Also, during my visit to this branch, I could overhear a very unhappy customer speaking to one of the employees. From what I could hear, it sounded like she was experiencing a similar scenario as I was- in terms of dishonest bankers. Too many "coincidences" for me to not believe that this branch has habitual offenders. I will never return. In fact, I'm considering leaving Wells Fargo as a whole after this experience.

Have you seem the news lately? Coupled with my personal history of offers and declines even though I have a 795 credit score. Their reason, to many inquiries. Then when the banker pulled my credit himself, wells Fargo were the only inquires. Lol, I took my money elsewhere. They are scammers.

I had a decent experience there, I was in and out pretty quickly. The teller was pretty friendly as well.
