SunState Federal Credit Union: Archer Road in Gainesville, FL

Absolutely terrible experience. You would think a place that likes to promote how "great they are" when you sit down in one of their chairs would actually follow it up with honest, accurate service. Applied for a loan, and was approved Tier 1 and discussed interest rates over the phone. Once I get there the interest rate changed 4 times. First we were at 3.75, oops I'm sorry it's actually 3.99. Oops I mean it's actually 4.5, oh no I'm sorry I read a different rate sheet it's actually 5.5%. What is the need to shuffle and be deceptive? You guys do this every single day, reading a rate sheet and being honest and up front with customers is vital to your reputation in Gainesville. Not only did I get cheaper rates and better service from both of the other well known credit unions, I received less than half the interest rate on the same vehicle with none of the runaround. Do yourself a favor and skip this lender. They need to retrain employees and focus on product knowledge and clarity when dealing with customers.
