My first mortgage was particularly difficult both because there was a short time to close and because I am self-employed requiring more information. Had a horrible experience with another mortgage broker in town, left her and was SO pleased with the professional, courteous services that I received at Chris Doering Mortgage. Everything was explained wonderfully, I was given plenty of time to read and sign paperwork (no '24 hours to sign or the interest rate will go up' with them) and they never took phone calls in front of me discussing other people's financial business (like the other broker).
