Army Aviation Center Federal CU in DeFuniak Springs, FL

would not deal with this bank at all. i went to the bank and tried to get 2 rolls of quarters for a 20 for my boss that has a business account with this bank. was refused because my name was not on a account with them. always thought they advertised a community bank for locals but i guess that doesn't apply unless you have an account with them. Blew my mind since basically they were refusing a federal note as a federal credit union

BEST PLACE EVER TO BANK.EVERYONE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GO ABOVE AND BEYOND, FEES ARE REASONABLE. OVERALL A PEASANT EXPERIENCE. BEEN BANKING WITH THEM FOR OVER 8 YEARS.

It is a shame that if you withdraw money from their ATM and pay a $2 fee for the privilege that they will refuse to make change for you unless you have an account. Why? Concerned about counterfeit? I traveled in Asia and ANY bank would make change for you with no fees even though you didn't even belong to their country. I am an Army veteran and had my DL for ID and live two blocks from this bank but couldn't get change. The place IS a bank, right? Oh, well, I guess that is WHY Walmart should be allowed to provide full service banking nationwide. Long live Walmart! They give me cash on my debit card with no fee and make change too. The sad part is that if the AFFCU had been a little more willing to help a local citizen on a small matter I would have had a positive impression and would have considered them for a source for a mortgage, etc. My impression is that many people working here are not too happy for whatever reason. Lesson learned. I won't return.
