Capital City Bank in Crystal River, FL

Do not do business with this Bank. They are not helpful and don't care about you or your business. I deposited a check for 1700 into my bank account. I was unable to check my balance online since the system was down this weekend so I called the 800#. The 800# stated that my available balance was 1900. Needless to say after some Christmas shopping I was charged 12 overdraft fees equaling $420. What a nice Christmas present. I went to the Crystal River bank today to see what the branch could do about it and they refused to help because, basically, it was all my fault. Even though the 800# said my available balance was 1900. I will never do business with this bank again and I suggest you don't either. I closed my account after being a customer for almost 10 years. All they want is your money and nothing else.

For a bank its just a bit above average, better off using a credit union if you want to be treated decently.

Worst bank on the planet I recommend the bank in citrus springs less snobby and willing to with you without looking down on you.
