Grow Financial Federal Credit Union: Clearwater Store in Clearwater, FL

I've been going here for over 3 years(banking with Grow in general for almost 20 years before it was called Grow) and never had an issue. Front desk is helpful right from the jump(even did the leg work for me with some things I should be doing it.).

I've banked here a little over a year now. I'm leaving and heading to another bank which is definitely a headache with three accounts. Unfortunately, the customer service is so hit or miss. Some of the tellers and others are great and some are as helpful as a wall. The biggest disappointment is the phone customer service (especially for business accts). The one person I could always get a straight answer from was Justin. He became my go to and now I find out he isn't there. Way to lose a great employee. To make it clear, I was leaving anyway but definitely helped my decision when I saw who they kept and who they "laid off".

Did not like monthly fees being charged for statements. Also fees are charged if you do not remove money from your savings account on a monthly basis. Thought a savings account was meant to save your money, not spend it.

People inside the branch (Clearwater FL) are wonderful. But the poor technology at the ATM is horrible. Its either broken or so slow that its not worth using. Also, they have hidden the branch phone numbers so they can force you into the 800# cue that DOESNT WORK. My God how do you people not check your own phone system? It says to press one for personal accounts but when you do nothing happens! It just repeats the prompts over and over until it finally hangs up! Ive been a customer for almost 30 years and have never experienced such horrible automated customer service. I think its time I found a new bank.
