Two week holds on a payroll check from a trustworthy company. No thanks. Moving as soon as my check clears...............

I had a very bad experience today trying to cash a check from a company they know is not giving bad checks. I understand some holds but the amount of money they wanted to release to me today, they know was unacceptable for a member over 10 years+...they have received my payroll check every 2 weeks for years. I had tbis problem in tge past unfortunately the nice guy who helped me before no longer works there. If it had not been for Ms Lisa and Ms Jeanette who treated me with dignity I would have just closed all my family's accounts and put an ad in the Florida Sentinal to urge African Americans not to put their money there. I hate to start over at my age with a new bank but it might be time.

To come in at 2pm which would be considering after lunch rush and have to wait over an hour (standing up I might add, due to lack of staff on to handle requests and lack of chairs to fulfill people waiting is more than unacceptable. Considering I just opened up a new account this is not what is expected from a bank with a simple request of a debit card!!! Upper management needs to evaluate staffing issues and payroll! Sincerely, A client that would like a debit card.

I am beyond upset with Grow. I've been a member since 2012 and have never experienced anything like what I have been through in the past week with them. My account was frozen due to my name linked to my son's account. I was not notified and was leaving to go out of town. Went to the branch and was asked if I thought about getting a pay day loan from Amscot? During this time my car insurance was cancelled because they could not get the money. This afternoon everything was cleared, I had to pay over $650.00 to Geico. The outstanding and a new policy (which went up). I then attempted to use my debt card at the store only to find out the transaction was declined. I tried to contact the bank only to get a a recording to leave my information and a Grow Rep will contact me within 24 hours.The stupid rep I spoke to earlier in the day open the account up but failed to remove the block from my debt card. This situation has left a serious bad taste in my mouth. I WILL be closing my account with Grow immediately!!!! I have spoken to family members and friends who will be doing the same. It's a shame I have to pay Grow $10.00 a month to hold my money then go through this!!!!!! VERY DISGUSTED WITH GROW FINANCIAL!!!
