The Milford Bank in Milford, CT

Milford Bank is absolutely amazing. I am a first time home buyer and they have a program for people like me with a very appealing, low interest rate. I was attempting to get a mortgage from a large bank and i ran into SO many problems with them it was ridiculous. After 2 months of trying to get a mortgage i still was not successful in the end with the large bank, so i switched over to Milford Bank. This nice community bank met my needs very quickly. In ONE WEEK i was approved for my mortgage and i had my closing soon after the approval. I cannot thank Milford Bank enough for what they did for me. I am so thrilled and i am officially a home owner thanks to these guys. Anyone doing anything remotely financially related should go to Milford bank. these guys will really take care of you. After my mortgage loan request was turned down by 2 other banks, The Milford Bank was referred to me by my mortgage broker. I was reluctant to go through the process again, as I was on a tight timeline. Joann Sabas, my representative from Milford Bank encouraged me to give it another shot. Joann kept in touch with me almost everyday, giving me the details, the updates, and support. Yesterday, Sept 14th, Joann called me with the good news. Milford Bank approved my loan. I didn't need to put more money down, and I didn't need to get a co signer. There is something to be said about working with a local bank, that cares about you as a customer, and not as a number. I could go on and on, but see for yourself. I highly recommend Milford Bank and Joann Sabas.
