I deposited an out of state check over 10k and they put a 7 day hold on it not a problem since the bank must protect its interest. Spoke with the person that wrote the check and was told the check was cashed 2 days after it was deposited I mean funds were removed from his account gone. Went to the branch following Monday and spoke with manager because my account said the funds were still on hold .Asked why funds were not available to me and was told bank procedure I also asked him if he had the authority to clear the hold to which he said yes but that he would not. I said fine and waited 7 more days at which time I went in to remove 4k for business and was told I could only take 900 well I'm the wrong person to say that to so after some loud back and forth 900 turned into 3k in 20's and 10's. I was also told that to make a large cash withdral requires 2-3 says notice are u out if your mind 2-3 days for 4k in 100's. I don't like being used and lied to so at this point they were informed to have the rest of my funds within that time frame and that I will no longer be doing business with them. I was under the impression a bank could only hold a check 3 days makes sense cause this was cashed in 2 and on a weekend. Also why does a bank not have 50k + in cash on hand at anytime while open for business what is the vault for, keeping the employee lunches. Also the manager needs to brush his teeth before speaking with customers .
