Bellco Credit Union in Sheridan, CO

I have had very negative experiences with this credit Union in the past. Not quite as bad as chase, bit pretty close. Use at your own discretion.

I have gotten 5 loans from this place. I will never even try again. It takes days to get a loan. You need to hold there hand the whole way. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone at the branch location even if you have there direct number. I went to Blue Federal Credit Union and walked out with a $60k check in 2 hours. It took belco 2 weeks then when I got to the dealer. Belco had f-d it up so bad they had to redo the loan. Just save yourself some time and aggravation go to a different bank.

Shittiest service ever im from Albuquerque New Mexico I lost my ID and debit card I got a new temp license and they will not make me a withdrawal. In Albuquerque the banks allow up to 100$ transaction with out an ID I can't get a new debit card for another 7-10 days and my new license is in Albuquerque waiting for me to pick it up. Just drove to two different locations to waste my time. DO NOT DEAL WITH THE MANAGER WITH GLASSES SHE IS THE WORST EVER.

Instead of setting up my account to fleece me like most banks, they have everything set up to gently guide me into doing what I need to do but am too financially illiterate to know to do. It's like they are more interested in helping me succeed than they are about the almighty dollar. It's quite refreshing. My experience with business generally is the opposite. With a very few notable exceptions. I would encourage people to try them.

If you like waiting on the phone for way too long and like playing 'guess that number' with the automated answering service, (trying to talk to a real person with a simple question that's not included in the pre set options) then this bank is for you! It takes even longer if you only have a savings account with no pin and can't get a real person without entering your social and pin... (Tapping **** repeatedly seemed to do the trick finally) previously I inquired about opening a checking account and decided the trouble it would take to do so wasn't worth it to me... walked out. I'm still banking primarily with a CU out of Utah and get better service there than the two I have here!! Amazing!
