I believe in shopping locally. I've been doing business with Rod for 10 years or more and have NEVER had a bad experience. I've recently purchased some guns from them and their service and support was fantastic. The staff are great. It's nice to go somewhere where people call you by name. Thanks guys

This is by far the most fair and suscessful experience I have had in Longmont in terms of pawn shops. The gentleman who work the store front make it a point to treat every respectful customer with honor. They will be my go to for as long as I live here.

So if you put a firearm on layaway. Get denied when attempting to buy. Do the appeal process then come back for the layaway money. They want to give you 100% store credit or 80% of what you originally put down. What a scam! I won't be a returning Customer. The only reason for 2 stars is selection of fire arms.

As a gun novice, I was initially intimidated to ask my questions. I have found the owner, Rod, and the employees at Grandpa's Pawn and Gun to be very helpful and willing to answer my questions. Prior to my first purchase there, I shopped around and found the prices to be comparable with others. Where Grandpa's Pawn and Gun really excelled is in their customer service and willingness to help.
