Consumer Credit Counseling Services in Fort Collins, CO

I turned to Consumer Credit Counseling when I was at the end of my rope. My credit card debt was spiraling out of control and I couldn't even afford to make the minimum payments. I tried working with the credit card companies on my own, some agreed to help, others refused, but I felt like I was drowning. Consumer Credit put me on a repayment plan that allowed me to repay my debts and learn how to properly budget. They have a no credit card rule while on the program and I think that is a great idea. I learned how to pay in just cash and really openned my eyes to how much I was really spending. It took a couple of years but I did repay all of my debt and I have actually been credit card free since 2005 with no problems. I couldn't have avoided Bankruptcy without them. The fee was actually very hard for me to come up with, as I am sure it is for others in similar situations, but it was still cheaper than any bankruptcy without all of the ramifications. I highly recommend this place over all other debt consolidation places.
