I cannot really explain what a pleasure it was doing business with Ramon. I haven't come across such honest & professional services in quite some time! Ramon and his team provided us with tremendous support, helped me fix issues with my credit score proactively, explained things to me with patience (I didn't have any knowledge of the mortgage refinance process) and provided support throughout till the loan funded. I had always dreaded the process of refinance, but Ramon actually made it an enjoyable affair. In fact I rarely had to call him up on his phone, as almost the entire process was done over emails. Later I came to know that he had a family medical emergency while my refinance was going on. He never let this affect the process at all and continued to provide timely support throughout!. Now that's what I call professionalism! I wish him the very best with his business!

I am extremely disappointed in the professionalism of Mt. Diablo lending and would advise anyone looking to do business with this broker to go elsewhere. We reached out to Mt. Diablo in early July for a refinance and their initial hook was nice - "NO CLOSING COSTS - YOU'LL GET MONEY BACK" - only to see our estimated costs rise and rise and rise. After two months of back and forth, more like us reaching out to them with limited/late responses back from them, did we finally decide to cut ties. During this timeframe, it was a nightmare getting any answers from them and it always seemed to be someone different answering each time. I think over the course of the process we received emails from 4 or 5 different people from Mt. Diablo, and none of them seemed to have the answer, always deferring to others in the office. We had laid out exactly what we needed from Mt. Diablo, yet they kept coming back to us with different numbers - no explanation, no answers, nothing as to why things were continuously changing. The biggest issue by far was when I sent Ty a one-sentence email laying out exactly what time I was available to speak via a phone call he never responded to that email, only to call hours after the designated time. When I called back, he mentioned he didn't read my email - MY ONE-SENTENCE EMAIL! Does this sound like someone willing to work on your behalf to get you exactly what you need? So now that we've cut ties with Mt. Diablo, we are out the home appraisal and some other fees. Fine, I don't care about the appraisal, that's just part of the process, but the other fees are an issue because they should only happen AFTER all parties agree on what needs to be done and that never happened. As of this review, on 9/19/2016, I haven't heard a response from Mt. Diablo in 9 days which is when I last sent a request for more information. Again, I urge you to go elsewhere when looking for a broker because Mt. Diablo will not be there for you.
