I never write reviews but just read the other one that was left, and since I had a really positive experience with this company myself I felt obligated to write one. I actually did it myself and forgot to re-certify with the DEO at the beginning of the next year. I got thrown back onto the standard plan with the payments I was ultimately trying to get away from in the 1st place. I called several companies to get help and found all to be incompetent. I came across NSLS as my last chance and they were the ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERED A 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE!! They also re-certify you every year on their end. I haven't had a problem since and I would recommend their services to anyone I know. Unless your a cheapskate and don't want to pay the processing fee that is required or the monthly service charge needed to re-certify you themselves, well than you can always do it yourself. Best decision I made and was the same experience many of my co-workers and family members had as well. Very rarely do I speak so highly of a company that actually backs up what they say in writing.

Not speaking for others. If you had a good experience with this company then good for you but I gave this place one star because basically I called to see if I qualify for student loan forgivness and they said no and that my student loans were already in default. and that sounded like BS to me because I had gotten a email from my loan provider a month prior saying that if I don't start making payments THEN by next month my loans will go into default. So I called my loan provider and they said that it wasn't true and that the email they sent a month prior was correct. And by me doing so I was able to get most of my loan forgiven with them (my actual loan provider). I'm not saying not to trust this place but my advice is to call your actual loan provider to see what you can do with them first before you call these places that say they can do the student forgivness thing.

The only reason they got 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. Don't do it. I ended up paying them 2,000 to defer my loans and set up payment with another company. I ended up doing all the work myself except for the initial set up, and on top of the 2,000 they charge monthly. I canceled with NSLS and they are STILL taking money out of my account. DON'T DO IT! If you are fine with paying someone to do a service for you, but you end up doing the work yourself, then this is the company for you. If your not, then look elsewhere. They will be getting another call from me tomorrow. I am again telling them to cancel my account with them and put the money they took out this past month BACK. You can not take money for doing NOTHING.
