Rudest treatment in my life. on the morning of 8.5.2011 I came in as I usually do once a month to buy money orders for my bills. The girl behind the counter was sweet as always but there was this woman behind the counter this time with glasses, probably late 30's with curly hair. She kept interrupting the girl helping me. The clerk asked for my name and I said I don't want to give it, just need the money orders. So this woman starts to butt in to our conversation. "Oh well it's for your safety" and I told her no thanks, no name necessary. She began to taunt me and then she took the step of laughing in my face... hysterically. She COULDN'T BELIEVE that every person in the world isn't interested in giving out our names and addresses to every business we cater. She laughed hysterically at me, that has NEVER happened to me anywhere in my life. I well never come here again.

Nice experience for a first timer. Nice to know they are there to help in a pinch. Rates are high,however offset by need.

Spoke to Pamela at this location to request an extension. (Side note: I have been a customer with MoneyTree now going on 3 years! Moneytree has always been there to help out with the small bills and to get me until my next paycheck. Paying bills and school tuition can make it a little tight to pay the small stuff like gas and groceries.) After today's conversation with her I will NEVER request any more loans from MoneyTree! She said "normally we only offer 1-2 business days for an extension, but today we will honor your request." This really pissed me off! Because in the 3 years I have been a customer not once.... not EVER have I been told only 1-2 business days are allowed for extensions. And I usually pay my loan on a Friday when it's not due until Monday. For example: if I request a loan I pick to pay it off on a Monday which really I pay that Friday so its out of the way and Monday it already clears. So my little rant here is ...how do I put this delicately...WTF?! Moneytree get your employees all on the same page! If the whole 1-2 business days is what it is then make sure the employees know that so that one day when a customer calls they get the same information every time for very single branch! (If I could rate ZERO stars I would just because of the horrible experience a once loyal customer received from PAMELA). Rant complete.
