Redwood Credit Union in Rohnert Park, CA

While I understand customer service can be a moving target - RCU has its work cut out for them. Just got off the phone with a representative and really felt like I had intruded on her time. I received some advice from two other employees in person when I was there recently opening accounts for my kids. Finally got around to calling to take their advice. Her response was basically that the other employees were wrong and that for what I needed done I should just go online and figure it out myself. So on a different topic, I asked about the online messaging feature - since I tried that and have NEVER had an email back. (Like lots of others - I work and need to find alternate ways of doing personal business during business hours!) Her response - those messages only get answered if the people reviewing them feel that the service was used "appropriately". Wow. Just Wow.

Not very happy. First of all I am a private contractor for the Press Democrat. A local paper here in rhonert park. I get paid in change (not that much every week) and every time I go into the rhonert park branch I am received with rolling eyes and attitudes. I have been asked by multiple reps where I get the change which I think is very unprofessional. No one's business but myself, but besides the point. Last time I was in I got my receipt and it was 300$ short from what I gave them. He says no its on there. So I leave look again and low and behold it's not there, so I go back. I find the first teller I see and explain the situation and when we tell the original teller what the mistake is before even looking he say's "it's not wrong but, ok" with quite the attitude. I almost lost it..... 300$ is not a small mistake for me. The customer service is just atrocious and if you look into this is am not the first to post about the service problem. I will likely be closing all accounts and switching banks soon.

Extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. Isabel was a treat to work with.

Looks great since the remodel. They have 3 drive thru ATMs and one walk up ATM.
