Horrendous customer service! I went there to pick up my money sent by my brother through Western Union. After going back and forth for several days for all sorts of reasons (not having money, me not knowing the full name of my brother's secretary who was entrusted with sending the money, then later: not enough money), today the lady at the counter flat out told me that she cannot give me any money because the manager was not there to approve the transaction. When I asked to call her to get the approval over the phone, she said that she cannot bother her on her cellphone for a customer issue. Those of you who work in customer service, can you even imagine that? When I asked when is she coming back or when can they talk so she can approve the transaction, I was told, check this: "I don't know" Unbelievable, right? So basically she couldn't tell me when her manager would be back, or when I can pick up my own money! Is it a day?, a week? a month? She said she didn't know. I worked with various customers my entire life, on three continents. I have NEVER seen such an absurd, rude way of dealing with customers! THE WORST EVER! I escalated the incident to Western Union and they will take action. Avoid this office at all costs! There are several others very, very close! I went to a different office and they took care of me right away, with no problems, They even said that this office on Orange St is notorious, since quite a few unhappy customers are coming from here to them. I wonder if the upper management and franchise directors are aware of what's going on?
