These guys are the worst. If you want to wait forever to get your financing done then go ahead and try these guys. They are rude, condescending and never, i mean never, give you a straight answer.

I see other reviews of this institution that aren't so glowing, but I have had a wonderful experience with FirstCal in Bellevue, WA. As with so many other things, it has a great deal to do with the people behind the scenes. My contact was great! I am a real estate Broker, and had the opportunity to work in-concert with Esteban Venezuela out of the Bellevue branch office. He had spectacular communication, and a clean process for our borrower to follow. In fact, we ended up closing escrow a week ahead of our originally scheduled date. That simply doesn't happen unless everyone has their ducks in a row. When shopping a lender (or real estate agent), ask questions. Ask their close ratio. Experience; how long have they been in business, and how many loans/sales do they themselves originate annually. Do they have references? Etc.
