Review Franklin Loan Center

If you want rudeness, difficulty and inflexibility in processing your loan application go to Franklin Loan Center. We had excellent credit and our loan to value ratio was very low as I was placing over 50% as a down payment, yet, I was put through delays and a harrowing loan process. If you get the opportunity run from this company.

Do your homework and AVOID this place. A broker named Dora Paige seemed not be able to handle a refinance. She gave us the run around for months. Asking questions that even in this tightened credit market we knew were not right. My husband who has experience working with difficult people become so annoyed with her ever changing requirements that she would blame on the lender that he said he could not take dealing with her anymore. She is incompetent and hopefully is no longer there. She would often text us after hours and on weekends knowing nothing could be accomplished at those times, she claims she was traveling. This place is a nightmare. We finally went to our credit union Pentagon Federal and we got a better deal and a quick easy closing they sent a very nice local agent to our house to have us sign all the paperwork. We should have checked with the credit union first. Live and learn. We have done a few refinances over the years so we when we realized there was something wrong with Franklin Loan Center ( or maybe just the broker we had ) we began to look elsewhere. However we wasted time with the delays and ever changing requests in the early weeks when she said we were almost done.

Horrible! GARBAGE!! Go somewhere else. Worst loan I have ever done. Not fully informed of the loans perameters. I asked questions that I learned later were not truthfully answered. Costs of loan ridiculous. Was too far into the process to turn back. Dealt with James Gross at the recommendation of a friend of a friend. Never again!!!

Incompetent, defensive and unprofessional. I applied for a loan with Alex Shelton and he couldn't keep up with the paperwork or deal with accuracy issues. Inaccurate and outdated information on the loan forms raised red flags and when I called this to his attention he told me I had called his professional integrity into question and he couldn't do business with me any more! Then, they sent me a letter saying that I had cancelled the loan application, which was another inaccuracy...is there a theme developing here? They also refused to answer my emails asking for my appraisal to be cancelled or the fee credited because there never was an appraisal. Come to find out, they had charged my Visa for the fee, so I had to contact my bank and dispute that. Another representative promised to take my concerns to the management, but failed to respond. There are professional and competent brokers out there who earn their money by doing things well. Run, don't walk away from this outfit.

If there were a option for no stars I would have given it! We are the sellers of a home that opened escrow Nov 22nd 2016 with a buyer who was prequalified through this office without requesting tax documents. It is now February 16th with no docs! They have withheld information, lied about dates and strung my family along for almost 90 days. We have been given date after date and I can promise you not one time they have given information has it been the date they promised! Ill just jot down the speculated closing dates they gave me; December 22 2016, January 5th 2017, January 14th 2017, January 20th or roughly 4 days after this date they said, and lastly was January 30th. And most recently in a direct phone call to the branch manager Jimmy Gray had promised this wednesday NO LATER than Thursday!!! Because they have felt terrible about the situation. Well again that was a lie! Here we are at 3:58 with no papers while the buyer and I sit here waiting to sign docs. So get ready for it.... the next set day they gave me an hour ago was tomorrow have docs. We shall see but I think its best to plan for next Friday with Franklin Loan Center. All I can say is get a second approval from anyone who gets stuck with this loan center! Also get prepared for the worst customer service you will experience.
