Chad Elliot made a beautiful custom jewelry necklace for me onsite in his Oceanside store. He does design and manufacturing in the store, and he was kind enough to show me his workbench and laser (a lot of technology goes into jewelry nowadays!). The necklace was much more affordable than it would've been at the mall. I like supporting independent affordable jewelry stores locally! Chad is a talented Oceanside jeweler. We are lucky to have him.

Chad Elliot is an outstanding jewelry designer and expert in gems and precious metals. My wife had lost her custom made wedding which was a one of a kind design. I provided Chad with several old photos and some estimated dimensions for the re-make hoping for the best. When I gave it to my wife on our anniversary of 26 years she thought I had somehow found her long lost ring. Nice work Chad!

I took a special chain in to be repaired that I have worn daily for over ten years. When I picked it up I put my cross on it and put it on immediately. As soon as I walked out of the store I went to my chest to touch my cross as I have done repeatedly for over ten years and knew instantly that this was not where my cross had always hit my chest. I felt the chain and it felt thinner and lighter. It was about 3 inches longer. I returned with in 20 seconds and told the clerk that this was not my chain. He suggested I leave the chain and said he would have the owner call. me. Chad did call me and told me there was no mix up with my chain. He said he had not even taken it out of the bag when he repaired it. Chad also said it was very stiff and felt it would break again soon. I'm not sure how he could determine that when it was not taken out of the bag? He explained the reason it was longer was because it had been pulled when it was broken..... I thought possibly my 14 kt. thicker and heavier box chain had switched because the only thing that looks familiar, on inspection, is the clasp. I feel so reassured to know that I was mistaken. I had no idea a chain could be "pulled and thinned out" so perfectly and evenly. I don't know why I had any doubts. ... but just to ease my silly little mind, I will measure and weigh my jewelry before dropping it off anywhere for repair...but I know this, it will never be at Oceanside Jewelers.

I took some fine jewelry there and Matt gave me his time and full attention. I felt comfortable and confident that he was giving me a fair price for my family's heirlooms. I definitely recommend this small business for treating customers right
