Hollywood Check Cashing in Los Angeles, CA

This place just opened up and its great, great location , and very fast. I went in there cash my insurance check and I walked out with my money in less then 15 minutes. Amazing location, easy & very convienient for me. staff was friendly to. go there, great place

Nice building, awful customer service. Supposedly the owner is the only person who works at the shops? Either way, he was exceptionally rude and continuously talked over me. Tried telling me that I was wrong about a check I received, and basically slid away in his little computer chair which he's supposedly too good to stand up from. There's plenty of check cashing places in Hollywood. Stay away from this guy at all costs.

The silver lining to the nightmare in dealing with Western Union. Western Union and other agents proven to be useless. No hassles and the attendant was the nicest guy. Need more people like this in LA

Patiently waited while my check was scrutinized and the attendant dodgily tried to call the appropriate parties related to my check to ensure that it was valid. They were calling the parent company of the company I rented space from (was cashing my returned deposit) so I let them know they weren't going to find what they were looking for at this number and that I could give them the information of the management staff. The attendant then told me the date on the check was too old for them to cash it without holding it for 4 days. The check was written on 12/29. Today is 3/7. I don't know the exact rules surrounding check cashing businesses but I felt thoroughly as if I was being persecuted because they didn't recognize the business and due to my alternative style and dress. The attendants were whispering and speaking to each other in Spanish about the situation as if I were a criminal. I speak Spanish. Very disappointed and will not be visiting this establishment again.
