Very impressed with EmpireAmerica! Was in the market to get a cash out refi on my home, I called many Mortgage Co. and with my credit they all Quoted me in the mid 4% range, I ran across an ad for EmpireAmerica and decided to give them A call. I spoke to David and he qave me a very good rate that would be offered to someone with a better credit score at the other companies, I couldn't pass up nor could I believe it. I was actually in the process of going for a mid 4% loan and boy was the other mortgage company upset, they even tried to tell me it was a scam and there is no way anyone could offer what EmpireAmerica is offering (keep in mind the Fed just raised the interest rate 1/4 point) so mortgage rates were all over the place. The Loan process was so fast and easy. Stephanie always answered questions promptly and very nice. Highly recommend EmpireAmerica if you want a no headache loan with very low rates.

Best around, hands down. I've completed 3 refi's with David and Stephanie over the last year or so. Best rates and great professional service. They know how to deal with the ever-increasing demands of the banks and get the deals done. If you do your part in a timely fashion (get them the documents they need and quit whining about it), you will close on time and for the quoted price. Honestly, after dealing with other mortgage brokers that change the deal and drop the ball, I didn't believe them when we started our first refi (since the rates were so good), but now after 3 successful ones completed on time and on price, I am a true believer.

We worked with David and Stephanie. They were very helpful and knew everything that needed to be done. We were on a timeline as we were buying a new home and the builder was reluctant to have a third party lender involved. They did a great job and there were no problems at all. They made us feel very confident in their abilities and they delivered. Will be using them again next time we move.

Beware of this company! They don't deserve even a single star! They appear to be very transparent in their rates online, but the appraisers they hire undervalue your property leading to more fees in your loan (which I can only assume they make money on). Secondly, instead of working with me on my appraisal value, i.e. letting me discuss with the appraiser about value discrepancies, David Jones "cancelled" my refinance without my authorization. This is very unprofessional for any mortgage broker. Now I am out the appraisal fee ($425), rates have gone up and now this guy has all of my personal information.

After having my hand held throughout my first mortgage, I had a nagging feeling I could have gotten a better deal if I had been a little more organized and went with a smaller lender. My experience with Empire America was just that: they would request documents, I would return them quickly, and everything got settled super fast. David Jones would call me to tell me that rates were dropping, or closing costs dropping, and did whatever saved me the most money. I don't have any complaints about how my refinance went, and I got a great rate too!
