Carrington mortgage is the most incompetent and rude mortgage company ever! Bank of America sold my loan to them about 2 years ago and I've had problems every month since then! They dropped my homeowners insurance and didn't pay them out of my escrow, they've gone up on my loan several times and can never give me a legitimate reason why, their website never works, and they haven't been able to draft my payment out of my account on several occasions, then charging me a $26.00 late fee like it's my fault! Rude is an understatement! I literally got into a screaming match with one of them because they couldn't do something as simple as draft a payment! What kind of professional company can't do that? I have to change my password on the website almost monthly because it isn't working! I could go on and on about this nightmare of a mortgage company! Just run!!!

not even one step shy of being loan sharks. Customer service is horrible!! They have only responded properly once I got an attorney working for me. Bloody ridiculous!!! Lowest prime interest rates in history, yet my mortgage keeps going up???? (never one late payment in ten years! unfortunately, due to economy I can't refinance elswhere) B**tards!

Worst mortgage company ever. They charge additional fees with no basis for why they are charging those fees. Calling in to customer service will get you nowhere. We had less than a year left to pay off our mortgage and our bank sold our loan to them. It has been nothing but a nightmare ever since. If I could give less than one star, I would.

Horrible Service. BoA sold them my home loan. Years later I refinance to get away from Carrington. Carrington lied to me about sending my escrow following the closure of the loan by telling me the check post marked a week before it actually did. They didn't put the check in the mail until I called them and they pretended like it was already sent. If you try to use their website for anything... good luck.

I felt like I was a character in the movie "The Rainmaker". All the "Teller Reps" do is pass you from one to another and give the same canned responses. They bought out my Mortgage not by request, CASHED my payment yet did not post it to my account and considered it "LOST". they say turnaround for their "Backlog" is 30 days, yet they cashed it over 40 days ago. Faxed in proof and followed up with countless calls and faxes with no resolution. After finally Demanding a supervisor (a real one), got basically the same story. Putrid.
