Altura Credit Union in Hemet, CA

I've had quite a different experience than other people here. In my experience they have always been polite and reasonably efficient. I haven't incured "hidden fees", but then I don't go overdrawn.

I used to bank with Altura back before they merged. I used to be a happy customer. Then they closed the sj branch, then Yale. So all that was left was this one. And I never liked this one. Yale branch knew my name by heart and everyone would welcome me personally when I would walk in. This branch only saw dollar signs $$$. They let a company steal money from my account and I had proof of everything showing they had no business putting their hands in my account. Altura didn't care. One 1 I didn't balance my books right and 1 bill was going to make the account go under by $5. Very simple mistake, ok. I'll pay the bounce fee for that one. But wait a minute... you stopped 3 bills from going through and charged over draft fee on each one. At 25 each. My credit card wasn't happy nor cell phone company. So they gave me 35 each fee for bounced check. Now we are at 180 in fees. I went straight to the manager and said pull the account and look at what happened. They waved 1 25 fee. And wouldn't do anything else. I brought my account to fully balanced, contacted my credit card and cell phone got that straighten out, and once everyone had their money. I closed my account with Altura. I now back with Wells Fargo, and I'm very happy with their services.

I have financed three vehicles here with no problem till I paid the third one off. Altura couldn't get me my pink slip after multiple attempts. I had to haggle with the DMV/altura for eight hours to finally get a maybe I will recieve the pink slip if they accept the info from Altura. I will not be using Altura again due there inability to furnish my pink slip and wasting my valuable time.

Horrible customer service!!! Not helpful ar all the girls are rude and have an attitude problem
