US Lending & Company, Inc in Hawthorne, CA

I just moved in to our new home this weekend. It is our first house and feels so different then living in an apartment. I was very reluctant purchasing a home due to substantial amount of money needed for down payment and expensive long loan process. I started shopping for loans and upon my realtor advice; I had my wife contact a company in our local city. The office name was US Lending Company Services. I visited the office and spoke to a staff member for few minutes. We set up an appointment to speak to the manager on Saturday. The staff was very courteous and accommodating for a weekend appointment. I also went to my bank to get an idea about the loan but I was handed two sheets of paper asking for a laundry list of documents to bring next week to meet loan person since he was only there on Mondays. No one else at the branch wanted to answer my questions about mortgage. I decided to wait till the weekend to meet the people at US Lending to assist us in getting a mortgage. We received a call on Friday to confirm the appointment (wow!) and as planned my wife and I met the loan manager on Saturday. I was very pleased after the meeting. The manger spent over an hour with us going over all the paperwork and providing an estimate of rates and fees. Surprisingly, the estimate was lower than our own bank. The whole staff kept us in loop during the whole process and finally we got our keys this past Friday. Great job by all the workers at the office! These people made it very easy and stress free for us. We are very pleased by US Lending services. I will definitely recommend this company.

They gave us a pre-approval letter for conventional loan and then attempted to switch it to FHA right as we went into escrow on the property. The big problem was that the property was a condo and was not FHA approved.They then tried to tell us that the condo was FHA approved when the association told us it wasn't. In the end we got a new loan, but they almost killed the entire deal for us. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK...WAY SHADY!!!!!!!!
