Speedy Cash in Gardena, CA

Well it was a last minute decision to use this place to cash a check. Before they charged me 6 dollars to cash my check, they gave me a debit card and open an account for me . I didn't like the fee they charged. It's too much since most liqours stores charge 1% of a check to cash them. Haven't used their debit card. I fear there's many hidden fees . It was an okay experience.

Predatory lenders. Criminals. Loan Sharks. Scumbags. Bottomfeeders. These words are too generous when it comes to Speedy Cash. You borrow 2600 then prepare to pay them back almost 11 thousand dollars at a punishing rate of almost 250 dollars every two weeks. Yes thats right. You end up paying an APR of over 400%. A fact they do thier best to hide. Do not use Speedy Cash. Lendup loans is a much much better alternative. Lower fees and helps build credit for you. They help you escape from loan sharks like Speedy Cash. As you repay loans you are eligible for larger amounts as well as lower interest rates. Never ever ever come here. These people are crooks and prey on people struggling to get by. Lendup Loans is a much better alternative and they actually care. Cash Net is also a cheaper alternative but not quite as good as LendUp. I dont have enough words to describe how much I loathe these people. Ridiculous.

In the morning especially on Fridays the lines are way too long and there's not enough customer service reps to help the customers. And sometimes I noticed that customers get frustrated for the long wait in the long lines

I rarely go to the store but whenever I do, the services are great and the staff very courteous especially at the Gardena Rosecrans store. I would like to say thanks to Monica and Veronica who go above and beyond. Hope I got the names right.

OK so I was reading a review on another money lending entity and read something disturbing. So I thought let me call Speedy Cash who I got a loan from to see if they operate in the same manner. So I called and sure enough they do. Listen heres the deal, these quick loan entities are in place to make money and what's sad is that they know they're guaranteed to make money off customers whose either in a bind or someone who had a unforeseen financial occurrence. I have to say they are loan sharks conducting business in a legal setting. My only hope is that everyone that is contemplating on getting a loan for more than 300.00 as questions. Ask the agent at the window to do the math for you so you will know all specifics before taking the loan. So here's my issue: $2600 borrowed, 22 payments made ($2098) went directly to the company. Currently owe $2700.89. on a 42 month contract. I will pay this bill in full in April and will never do business with them again. Knowing what I know now and as a good standing and respectful individual, if I needed a job I wouldn't even apply for a position there. Even if I was guaranteed employment. Reason being, I don't want to be affiliated with a company that steals or pimp people for their money. You know people work hard for their money and there's a lot of other things I could do with my money than giving it away to a business that have built their Empire off stealing and legally robbing people of their money.
