I can't even give them 2 stars! Walked in lady was rude! Said what can I help you find! Oh we don't have that here! Super short with me saw the item on the shelf and walked out! I could tell she didn't like white people is why she was so short with me! But I left my review and now I can stop thinking how lame she was :)

I have been disappointed with their service once I will admit. The young lady was very short and rude then the next time I came in she was as pleasant as can be. My one recommendation that I would like to let not only this business but all businesses dealing with this kind of service such as pawning or loans. Coming from a customers perspective I don't think that it's ever really considered that much just how very difficult it is for a person to have to admit that they are in such a bad position that they require the assistance of a pawn broker. It's very demeaning feeling and probably most definitely one of the worse feelings I have felt. Please don't misunderstand me either because I am also very thankful that there is at least this kind of resource available to the public if and when life throws a curveball and you find it necessary to use such a resource to come up with some fast cash. I do believe that many pawn brokers will assume that if your using their services that you are a person that has shady dealings and are most likely on drugs. I myself have witnessed first hand the amount of drug users and tweakers at pawn stores. Hell, I in fact used to be one myself. However, I have 14 yrs. clean this December and even as a sober working middle class citizen still find myself in occasional situations that require my using a pawn or loan to get me by. I only hope that the person behind the counter can be a little more sensitive to the fact that it's not the easiest thing to do having to walk inside their doors and selling or obtaining a loan from them. I would almost prefer to shoot myself in the foot than have to do so. I wouldn't even consider the option now a days quite frankly except that I have more to think about than just myself. Last, trying to take advantage of people by low balling them during such a desperate time in their life as it is can only be described by myself as dirty and ugly. If I ever get that feeling from such a business then it's game over and they have lost me as a customer from that point forward. All this being said is why I am giving my review the 5 stars that I am for East County Jewelry & Loan. I don't always agree with what they are offering as far as money goes but I don't walk out their doors feeling swindled. With the exception to my one bad experience I have had here I haven't ever had any bad service from the employees. I also understand that we all have bad days. I have always tried my hardest to wait on giving a business a review until I have had a few dealings with them. If everyone that came in to contact with me each day based their opinion on just one single interaction with me then I wouldn't have any friends. I therefore do recommend this business as they have always treated me fairly and decent as not only a customer but a person.

Been going there for almost 6 or 7 yrs don't remember but their always nice and helpful when I need to pawn my stuff, and always get my stuff in good shape.

I have been there many times to buy and pawn, the ladies are always super friendly and ready to help! Definitely recommend this place. I'm giving four stars because I'm not to thrilled with some of their fees!

The only jewelry and Loan I go to in El Cajon city, the saff are friendly, understandable, and reasonable. It's clean and organize, your able see the items they have to offer in plain view. Convenient, nice location, very easy to find. I give it four stars, it would be five stars if only one of the female staff ever ask me for a date. (LOL).
