Wells Fargo Bank in Del Mar, CA

The folks are kind and friendly . I am somewhat dissapointed that the branch manager could not help with an IRA beneficiary form . He suggested I call the phone number on the letter ....okay . So I call this special phone number and I get routed to basic customer service with prompts to put in ny checking # , savings etc . So after one hour I get through to the IRA dept .....they had just closed . I have no idea why wells would have the incorrect hours of operation and days of operation . I was also informed that this particular branch does not have a notary . Okay . So Friday was a waste of time , the sat call was a waste of time and was informed that they are not open Sunday . That's fine BUT PLEASE WELLS don't say you are open on Sunday . So on Monday I call the IRA special number . Same thing , routed to hold and wait , hold and wait , I did get a nice gentlemen in that department and he was helpful . He said when completed take back to the wells and get Sig verified and sealed , witnessed by notary . Sadly they can't do that . The Solana branch informed me that they have a notary by appointment . So in hindsight I should have asked the branch manager to call the IRA dept . Wells should also put the correct hours of operation on info sheet . That's my experience so far , 4 days and not completed . Sincerely , dtl .
