We would work with Irene again in a heartbeat! As first time homebuyers, we didn't know where to start and had lots of questions. Irene was a huge help along the way for us. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about the loan process, but she is a great educator and was very thorough (and patient!) in going over terms and what to expect. She was straight forward, very transparent, extremely helpful, and always a joy to work with. Irene made herself very accessible, and it was her responsiveness that ultimately got us our home! We saw our home on a Friday evening and fell in love with it immediately. Irene acted fast, and helped us pull together a letter to include with our offer to insure we got the house... and we did! In addition, she got us a phenomenal rate with great terms. We could not have been happier. Irene is also well connected to experienced and trustworthy professionals. She was able to connect us to realtors, tax professionals, estate planning attorneys, and insurance contacts. We find ourselves still reaching out to her for suggestions on various professionals to meet with. Irene, thank you for being on-top-of it throughout the entire process! Having you on our side put us at ease. We appreciate you going above and beyond to help us get our home (and a great rate!) , and for always staying one step ahead of us.

Irene was very very good. She was super responsive each and every time there was a question or need. She emailed me with different rates all the time, and in the end, we refi'd for free,due to credits we received, and she got us a GREAT rate. Though the lender scrutinized us, which we did not care for, she was the messenger and I did not want to shoot the messenger...she was always diplomatic and understanding when we were asked to provide more information, and I appreciated that. I'd give Irene the highest rating, and definitely recommend her!

I'm always skeptical about meeting new people, and even more so about giving out my personal information. A friend originally referred me to someone else, and after a few weeks of what I would class as lack of prompt service and feeling like I was just a commission check to them, I gave up. I did an extensive search on the web, after reading some positives reviews about Irene, and Granite Financial I sent her an e-mail asking for a rate quote. Wasn't expecting much, and wasn't looking forward to the refinancing process as this was all completely new to me. I was impressed initially that I got a reply back so quick, and I could tell from the e-mail that it wasn't a typical "canned" response. After talking to her on the phone and in person, I felt confident that yes, this is a person I can trust. My refinance process wasn't straight forward but it went smoothly. A big part of that was due to Irene's knowledge, she is one smart cookie! In the end Irene saved me a lot of $'s. She was always there to answer my questions, and to keep me updated on things in a very timely manner, even during the final week before her wedding! When you get to know Irene, you will find that she is an awesome person. She is highly intelligent, and genuinely cares about helping you. Irene has now helped me with two refinance processes, I don't recommend people to my friends unless they are A+. Irene is definitely A++, and without a doubt follows her slogan 'Where going the extra mile is the rule, not the exception."

If you go anywhere else, you are crazy. Irene is incredibly easy to work with, and has saved me thousands of dollars over the past few years. She keeps on top of market rates, and has helped me refinance 4 times in the past few years since I bought my house. I can't say enough great things about her.

This was my second time buying a house but if you include the times I refinanced that first house, I've worked with a total of four loan people and HOLY MOLY, was Irene THE BEST. I found her through a friend who swore by her and have since referred her to another one of my friends, who is now also firmly on Team Irene. Shady? NOPE! Bad communication? NOPE! Knowledgable? YEP! Timely? YEP! Thorough? YEP! Patient? OMMMGGGG YES! The single-lady-buys-a-home-in-Silicon-Valley process is a long and brutal one and even when my realtor was bumming me out about the likelihood of me winning any of the bajillion offers I put in, Irene was my cheerleader. When I finally got a bite she launched into action and jumped through hoops to shorten my loan contingency and help make me the most desirable buyer and BOOYAH, I was the winner! I'm *almost* sad I won't be buying another home anytime soon because it means I won't need to talk to Irene at all because maaaaan, she's amazing.
