Patelco Credit Union in Citrus Heights, CA

they hold your money for hostage and can't access it without asking permission if it is over their limit they have determined for you. Never good customer service.

I joined Patelco in 1994. About 6 years ago I left Wells Fargo and made Patelco my primary bank. I have always received excellent service at the Citrus Heights branch. If you want to join a credit union, I'd definitely recommend Patelco! Friendly staff, convenient drive-thru window, easy parking.

From the first time we visited just to ask questions about rates and requirements for joining, the customer service has been great. We left our other CU after being with them for a decade because though they weren't terrible, they weren't great. We visited some other CUs and didn't like the feel of our interactions with them or the need for appointments to get started. We returned with our necessary documents and opened our new checking and money market savings. We are SO glad that we did! It's only been a month and I already enjoy banking with Patelco more than anyone else. Even took our 4 kids in later and they started their own money market savings accounts so now they are earning 3% too. I recommend Patelco and the staff in Citrus Heights to anyone looking to make a change. The hours are not very convenient you have to get buzzed into the building. Wait time is always long even if I am the only customer there. They seem to spend a lot of time doing administrative and ignoring customers really wish I had a different credit union.

I have been a member for about 9 years now and the customer service is always excellent. Always helpful. Highly recommend this bank and staff. Citrus Heights branch is the best :)
