STAY AWAY!!!! these people are a nightmare to work with literally they will make you feel like you in hell. You go through so much with them to get nowhere and just lose money. They are never satisfied with anything you provide them apparently. They will ask you for the world and you give it to them ,they still be asking for more . The process with them takes centuries seems like. Each person as you go up their "ladder" will be telling you something different they supposedly work at the same company but they are all on a different page and everyone is backing themselves up. They make it sound so good and appealing at the beginning until you sign the papers and realize the nightmare process you got yourself involved in. BEWARE !!!!!

Do not do business with them. Worst mortgage company I have dealt with. I was their customer at the time and wanted to refinance my mortgage. I did my shopping around to see what are the interest rates and lowest fees I could get. I got a few very nice quotes from other mortgage providers, so with these quotes I contacted Sun West to see if they can beat these quotes and retain me as their customer. Aside from two different reps calling me fighting over who is doing my refinancing, which was very unprofessional, here is the main reason I dislike them. Sun West came close to the best competitors quote, but could not even match the offer, saying that the competition provided me with a quote that is formatted differently than their quote, so they can’t offer me the same deal, but if I get a Loan Estimate from them (competition), Sun West will match it. “This doesn’t even makes sense!!!”, is what I told him. The numbers are there on the competition’s quote, why can’t you provide me with the best deal you can give me, with in your means of course? Sun West rep said, they cannot go lower without Loan Estimate, which means they can go lower, it’s just they will not. I told Sun West, “If I get a Loan Estimate with someone else I will go with them”. The same day, I called the competition, but they did not return my phone call in a timely manner, since I was eager to take advantage of the rates at the time and the quote from Sun West was not too bad, I decided to take that offer. I called the Sun West rep back, (4 days later) and told him I will take the quote he made. To my dismay he told me that the quote expired the same day he sent it to me. The lowest interest rate he can offer now, is 0.5% higher than 4 days ago. “Are you kidding me?!?!”, was my reply. After a grueling 2 hour conversation with him and his manager I got nowhere, except giving them the lean payoff and signing contract with another lander a few weeks later. My advice, stay away from this lender.

I used Sun West Mortgage Company on a cash out refinance in 2016 because they offered the lowest interest rate. The terms on the deal were great and they beat the 3 other mortgage companies I was shopping. I hated my experience and the refinance took a total of 5 months to complete. The people were friendly and I could always get a hold of the loan officer to ask questions but the underwriting process was miserable. This is the second refinance I've done with them and I'll never do another. I had enough money in my bank account to pay off the property on top of having great credit and an established payment history with them but it made no difference. Miserable process, I would suggest going with another lender even if Sun West's rate is lower!!!!
