Branch Mgr. of Bank of America, 2nd St. Beaumont Branch, I’m calling your name for the discriminatory unprofessional way you treated me when I came into your bank yesterday asking for help with a frozen debit card preventing access to my money. When I arrived mid-afternoon, the bank was virtually empty. However, all four of the customer service cubicles were occupied. The bi-lingual Latina clerk asked what I needed and after explaining, escorted her next customer, a Latino laborer, into one of the cubicles and I was asked to take a seat -- that it would be a few minutes before someone could help me. After waiting 15 minutes, an obviously well-to-do couple arrived who were asked what they wanted and stated another credit card and to order $1,000 Pounds of English currency. There were only two chairs and now there were three of us. We chatted a bit and the woman commented about the wait and her impatient husband who was now pacing. Soon, the Bi-lingual clerk emerged and the laborer customer left and the clerk explained to the couple that the cut-off time to order foreign currency was passed but that the credit card could be obtained at the teller window. They got up to leave and agreeably said they would return in the morning. I got up being next and headed in the direction of the now vacant cubicle and suddenly, you, disheveled Ms. Branch Mgr. who was not wearing her Manolos, intercepted me, telling the clerk you would “handle this” and shoved a card into my hands; that I could call another department from home. You didn’t even give me a chance to explain I needed a temporary debit card to access my money. I implored you to help me after I had waited half an hour and noticed Ms. Bi-lingual escort Mr. & Mrs. Well-To-Do into the vacant cubicle. You insisted I had to take care of my own problem from home. You were less than gracious, to put it mildly, and your priority was simply to get me to leave. Finally, you stated that all four cubicles were occupied and that the only one I would be allowed to use was the loan officer’s who had a customer applying for a loan and it would be quite a while. I stormed out. You got what you wanted. I  was treated like . Beaumont is one of those new upscale homogenized retirement communities that is hot, arid, and desert. Finding shade is a rarity and it was 92 F. I drove to a nearby shopping center and parked under a bush and called corporate customer service and was told to go to the nearest BofA and request a temporary debit card to access my account. I had a melt down. While I was screaming at the blameless rep on the phone, a homeless man stuck his head in the window of my car asking where was K-mart. He scared me to death. He’s lucky I didn’t spray him with mace. With the rep who insisted on staying on the phone, I had to drive back to your branch and use my debit card that had been released with monitoring for 5 minutes to use the outside ATM machine and got my money! You could have easily issued me a temporary debit card. _______________________ you were rude, unprofessional, discriminating, and a bitch. You’re a terrible role model for your employees, and since Bank of America claims to value their customers and spends millions on customer service, you shouldn’t be working there, much less be a Branch Manager. But you nicely served Mr. & Mrs. Well-To-Do, now didn’t you? Course, I don’t maintain a 6-figure balance. Cheryl Weaver Ordinary Checking Customer

I'm a struggling 88 year old who has had wonderful service from the B of A in Beaumont. I have been challenged several times-online and the officials there have been quick to see that I was directed to Bank Officials [national offices]. My favorite teller there is Lily Gilmer, the best of several good tellers.

Very rude when my grandma called. She is on fixed income and her card got shut down for no reason. We called fraud they were extremely nice and helpful. But she couldn't help with a temp or send for a new card. She said to to call the branch near us and the woman who answered was so rude and disrespectful. My grandma lost her ID and this woman was SO SO unprofessional. I was appauld.

Very professional, courteous, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. She took care of my problem in less than 10 minutes. I had lost my debit card yesterday and saw a charge come through today that was not mine. She immediately blocked my account and said I would receive a new card in 4 to 29 days but could go into the bank tomorrow and get the new number on Temporary card. Excellent Customer service
