Imagine near the end of your mortgage contingency, you are requested to provide tons of documents that other mortgage bankers will never ask. Even though you provide those unnecessary documents in a timely manner, they still decline your application.They just did this with me. They provide the worst service ever. Please stay way from them if you want to save your money and time.

scott and steve christian are ripp offs they swendeled 10.000 dollars from my sister and they admit to the money but have wont pay it back but they sure can change there company name monthly

Immediately after closing, they sold our mortgage to another company; the transition has been terrible. After contacting Guaranteed Rate, they said that they pretty much sell a large proportion of their mortgages immediately with the explanation of "typical business practice". Transitioning has been a headache as we've had to redo a lot of paperwork and the new company pretty much is a nightmare to deal with.

He was shifty and manipulative from the beginning. He mentioned one price on Craigslist, another over the phone, yet another in person, and then the "paperwork" had a totally different quote! Not an honest word comes out of his mouth. He also has a nasty tendency to "misplace" anything in writing! He lied to us about prices, commissions, and never kept any paperwork. He also acted totally smug and satisfied that he got away with the theft. He never even tried to defend his actions! He's a liar and a thief. Stay away at all costs.
