The phone service is a joke! The dmv has a quicker response time. However once you are able to get in contact with someone they are very helpful.

They don't loose your money but you shouldn't even bother trying to reach them on the phone: Your call is important to us, just not important enough to answer. I have an issue where they gave me an incorrect fax number for some important paperwork and then I was unable to reach them. They have a call back feature on their hold forever recording but it took them over an hour to call me back. The gals who work in customer service are pleasant enough but they need more of them.

I use to love this bank, but ever since they put the atm in the drive throu, it is closed 50% of the time. It's the most aggravating thing ever, especially on a Saturday. This bank already is inconvenient because they are only a couple of them in town, it makes it worse when you can't get money from it.

Very approachable and helpful employees, and online access is good, too. I've been with First Credit Union since 1992 and so have used many financial and courtesy services. Some minor services that used to be free now are charged for, as is the way of the banking world these days, but this credit union has maintained a lot of the old conveniences such as dealing with human beings at the branch for free! ; )
