The process for acquiring a home loan for a new purchase went remarkably efficiently. Thank you to Mr. Steve Alonso and his staff for making things easy for us. Stephanie and the team at Academy were fantastic. Stephanie was always available and wiling to help. She was on top of her game at all times. With all the craziness and the ups and downs that go into buying and selling a house no to mention moving, it was nice to have someone like Stephanie in my corner helping me make sense of it all. I wouldn't hesitate to refer her and the Team to my friends and family. Truly an awesome experience!

Kudos to Rich J. and Brett at Academy Mesa. The mortgage process is never easy on anyone, everybody's situation differs in number of ways. In a nutshell, my husband and I had relocated from another state, and neither of us have family here so needless to say time and money were running low with adjusting to the new state and staying at an extended hotel... These two guys saved us from so many disasters that another lender, Nova in Phoenix had caused us. After all the runarounds and failed promises Nova put us through and with the new lending law on the 45-day closing period, Rich and Brett managed to get us our dream house in 3 weeks! However, it wasn't without a few ups and downs, a lot more bad news than good, we lost the appraisal money as well as 45+ days with Nova. Whatever issue Nova claimed they couldn't solve, Rich and Brett managed to pull through and this comes to show there are still lenders out there that actually care! I would recommend Rich and Brett to anyone looking for a home loan. There's still hope yet! :)

I worked with Scott Smith and his team. I had a wonderful experience and Scott was very knowledgeable. Working with Scott, he was able to give me the pros and cons of the different options available and I eventually went with a VA Loan. He was very responsive, even on the day of signing that I had a couple of questions 2 hours before my appointment time and I was able to leave a message for him and he returned my call in 15 minutes (he usually answered any calls without leaving a message) and I felt comfortable with all of his answers. Great team as well. I highly recommend Scott!

WORST SLACKERS EVER!! I turned in my docs and 3 weeks later they still hadn't completed the app process.The main guy would NEVER return my calls, always had his assistant return them.LAZY
