The Simmons Bank in Dermott, Arkansas will with hold your money even when a check has cleared the bank. I can understand withholding funds until a check clears, but to withhold funds for 8 days after a check clears the bank is absolutely ridiculous. It is very inconvenient for the customer, and what do they do with money that does not belong to them for 8 days? This is no way to treat a long time customer.
