Wells Fargo Bank in Prattville, AL

HORRIBLE experience! The teller had my transaction wrong and was very very rude!! As a customer i should not be talked to or treated like this for something they did and i was trying to get corrected. They really could care less about their customers. I will be using a different bank from here on out.

I have been doing business with Wells Fargo for years, even before it was Wells Fargo, I was using Wachovia, and before that Southtrust. I stayed loyal to them through all the name changes. I must say that I have never had any issues with this bank; until today. I came through the drive through in Prattville, AL. I wanted to deposit a insurance refund check from State Farm (made out to me) into my wife's checking account. Since we both have checking and saving accounts, and she gave me her debit card to make the deposit with (Wells Fargo is going green, and deposit slips are going away, per manager at this location) you would think this would not be a problem...But it was. The lady at the drive through told me that since my wife wasn't present that they would not allow me to make the deposit. So, ok, just put it in my account. I mentioned that we have a rental tenant that makes deposits monthly into my wife's account. "Why can't her husband make a deposit into her account, using her debit card?" The lady that was serving me did not answer, but another lady did answer. She said that it was because I was not listed on my wife's account. I said, "But neither is the rental tenant who makes monthly deposits". She did not respond. So, I ask again. Still, she would not respond. After the 3rd time, she responded repeating that I was not listed on my wife's account. I said "I understand but neither is the tenant, why?" Then, this lady, who injected herself into the conversation told me "Ok then, YOU have a nice day"...click. Seriously? I was in no way, shape, or form, rude or unfriendly to this woman. She refused to even look up when I pressed to buzzer. I don't understand why she was being so rude to me. She was the one who jumped into someone else's conversation. She was young. Maybe she hasn't honed her social skills yet? After the woman servicing me came back on the speaker, I ask to speak to a supervisor. In a moment, Jerry, the manager came to the window. He was very professional, businesslike. Nothing wrong with that. I told him the situation. He seemed to empathize with me. He did mention that they would need my wife's account number (instead of her debit card) to make this deposit. He ask what he could do to make it right. I told him that the deposit was already complete, so there was really noting he could do. But, I did not appreciate the unprofessional manner with which this young lady treated me. He did not offer an apology. But why should he? He was not rude and unprofessional to me. His employee was. Anyway, that's my story. I will stay with Wells Fargo for now, but will transfer all accounts to another bank if I encounter this level of rudeness and unprofessional behavior from the Prattville, AL location again.

Every time I go to this location the bank tellers lack customer service. The teller act as though they hate their jobs. Piss poor customer service every time.

Worst customer service ever!!!! Unfortunely this is the only Wells fargo bank near to Millbrook and Prattville

Poor customer service here. Other locations are much more responsive to customers.
