C&F Finance Co in Richmond, VA

They don't even deserve one star! This is by far the worst finance company I've ever dealt with!!!

Worst bank ever. They call one day after my husband due date, explained we never received payment book come to find out they mailed it to the wrong address but still called every day for payment saying were late. I told them we would only make payment if they waived $15 fee for phone payment supervisor agreed. Three months later still no payment book or monthly statements. We sent them a cease and desist letter so they can NEVER call us even if we are late. We send our payment within the ten day grace period. Soon as my husband can refinance he will.

C&F is the worst company to deal with if you are part of the Arm Forces. Before I received military orders to move to another country I would have considered C&F a higher rating, but unfortunately I can not. My husband and I purchased our car in October, 2015 because we wanted to go from two vehicles to one in order to save money because he would be leaving for a move to another country. Fast forward to one year later and the Army authorized my husband to bring his family with him. When we called C&F to inform them that we would be leaving the country and needed a release letter from the finance company authorizing us to ship our vehicle, they informed us that we are not permitted to take the vehicle with us that we pay on every month. We were informed that it was not in our best interest to stop paying the note (?) and there were no options for us except to refinance the vehicle with another company in the short 15 days we had before having to move. After feeling defeated I decided to call back C&F Finance to see if someone could help me with my dilemma, I was promised a call back that I never received and alas here i am paying for a vehicle that is now in storage because C&F finance refused to work with the service member who involuntarily received orders to move abroad. C&F Finance is not a military friendly institution and I will be sure to forward this email to Priority Nissan where I purchased my vehicle, so they know that this company will take the service member's money, but will not accommodate them if they receive orders taking them abroad. Thanks to C&F Finance I will not only have to continue to pay for a car that my family of six so desperately needs while we are abroad, but I will also have to buy another vehicle where I am now to accommodate us. Thanks for your service to our country's finest C&F Finance.

Shame you can't put less than one star. Every person I have had the pleasure of speaking to at this establishment have been the rudest nastiest people ever. I would not recommend this company for anything other than barring their doors.

Unprofessional and rude! Start calling on day one past the due date. I'm thirty bucks short of my car note and they wont accept partial payments...so they make a killing off fees! When you talk to them and tell them when you will make a payment they still harass you until they receive payment. Use scare tactics and harassment in order to collect payment. Do not finance with them. Fix your credit and go to your credit union.The interest rates are already insane then more fees on top of fees just to pay your bill. I'm surprised they haven't had a class action lawsuit yet! Keep shopping! You will regret this choice later! It's not worth it!
