All we can say is DO NOT do a purchase or refinance with this group. We agree with the person from April 13, 2011. We started with our "mortgage consultant" on early March 2011 and as of June 27, 2011 still was not closed. She has avoided being held accountable, very unprofessional, did not return calls or emails when things were urgent. Suppose to close April 30, 2011 yet from May 3 until May 16, 2011, she never returned a call, texts messages or emails. She made promises and excuses like none we have ever dealt with. From coming from the real estate profession for years, I can advise you that I have never seen something so messy and with purchasing or refinancing, there is already enough stress to get every detail together but to add on top of it dealing with people as unprofessional as this, please take your business somewhere else. There are enough trustworthy people who stay on top of things and make the whole process more seamless than Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Chattanooga. Needless to say, we made the decision to take our file today and go elsewhere. I never have rated or reviewed one thing on the internet but felt very compelled to do this in hopes that no one else gets entangled with them. RUN. This is the largest asset most people have and do not trust them with this important investment.

Took forever to reply after giving out personal information about 3weeks some times more. Wont return email or phone calls and now when i call no one in building answers the phone no matter how many times i call. I started in January 2015 talked to Lady she said were faster than most other places. She asked for our ssn number twice and when she got them i didn't hear from her for a month sent emails for updates never replied now February and still waiting finally got a hold of her she made an excuse and when she would hit a hault she had no idea how to fix the issue. Took another 2 weeks to get a hold of her and went into march and she asked for more pers personal information gave it to her and haven't heard from her since and its april 2015 now. Talked to the manager of bank and told her problem gave excuses for the lady i was going thru and she said she would handle it herself and she would call bank in couple hours. 2 days past no phone call back and no one will answer mine almost like no one is working there. DONT GO HERE EVER PLEASE take my advise

This branch doesn't deserve one star. One of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had, if I can spare you the time and frustration, PLEASE take your business somewhere else! As a first time home buyer this was a complete nightmare. Our first assigned loan officer (Mike Hobbs) didn’t give us any loan options that we qualified for, he didn’t give us any first time homeowners programs we could possibly be eligible for, he did not return phone calls nor emails, asked for documents that were already submitted. This same loan officer also registered us for a conventional loan when we expressed multiple times we wanted a FHA. That was the last straw, so I reached out to the branch manager (Becky Ruggiero) to express my concerns about our assigned loan officer. By this time I wanted to take my loan elsewhere but I was already deep in the process because this branch had already pulled my credit report, tax information, bank statement, etc. After a complaint the branch manager offered to take on my loan herself. She was WORSE than the loan officer. Fast forward this same branch pushed back my closing date not once, not twice but three times.

Do not trust Caleb Richardson. My fiance and I received absolutely no help from him, the only thing we received were hard inquiries on our credit reports for NOTHING. The first time we saw him, we gave him our information for a mortgage loan. We were lacking in a few areas which he offered us advice to get fixed and he told us to return as soon as we get those settles, and we did. We gave him what he needed, and guess what? He never responded to our NUMEROUS phone calls until we spoke to another financial advisor there and expressed our extreme dissatisfaction with the lack of communication. Immediately after, Caleb blew up my fiance's phone saying that he will try his best to get everything settled and his lack of communication was due to his large workload. He seemed on point after that and after pulling another hard inquiry on my fiance's credit. Then, everything stopped again. No more responses after that. My fiance and I gave up on him and Wells Fargo for a mortgage loan and moved onto another lender. We are bother incredibly upset that we wasted our time waiting around for him and waiting for nothing. We trusted him to help us with an important move in our lives and for our future. We only got setback by his help and we are in the process of disputing the inquiries made on our credit. I would not recommend Caleb Richardson, very unprofessional. I would trust him with personal information at all.

Long time homeowner, long time Wells Mortgage holder, and experienced in refinance process. Did not use my regular local bank feeling this would be easy since I already had loan with Wells. This was the worst financial transaction I have ever experienced. And I completed the closing successfully (no thanks to my Wells reps). Your calls will not be returned. You will get no explanation for duplicate requests in the cursed Loan Tracker. The delays resulted in the closing occurring over 90 days after beginning the process. My rate lock expired because of this. I could not even get the "closing specialist" to provide a payoff statement with the final closing disclosure (that I was given 78 minutes to review) in order to assure all the numbers were correct. On the day of closing, we sat in the closing office for 2 hours waiting for the payoff statement. The only positive was that Wells agreed to pay for the closing costs and rate lock extension due to all the trouble. Frankly, I would have rather paid the money and saved my time and blood pressure. I have learned my lesson and will pay a slightly higher cost and go back to using my local bank.
