These people suddenly posted 3 negative items on my TransUnion/Equifax credit bureaus. I have no recollection of any unpaid debts. I would like an indepth explanation. Unable to reach these people by phone. If I owe a debt, I would pay. Why would they report this (3) times all on the same day?

They put a mark on my credit for a medical bill in 2013 that was for my daughter and paid for by Medicaid. I provided the information they wanted for proof. Now nobody will return my calls or emails. Still ok my credit.

The woman I talked to couldn't care less that my Marine son wasn't responsible for a debt from 2011 but they hit his credit with it anyway. It was a hospital bill where my son was the patient and his father was the guarantor but insurance never paid off. Thanks for helping out someone who is in a hot spot protecting your sorry ass. What they're doing is screwing up my son's credit to guilt trip my husband into paying something that isn't owed. Now that's class.

I have been rebuilding my credit for several years now so I monitor my reports daily. I noticed one day my credit score had dropped by 36 points in less than 24 hours. Upon further research I discovered that this company had somehow fraudulently obtained a debt that I had already paid off several years ago (2013) and somehow had dinged my credit. I immediately began digging and doing research on this company and it's parent company that it supposedly bought the debt from (medical debt).Once I finally got in touch with these people at CFS, they were extremely rude and borderline disrespectful to me. Even after I told them I had paid off the debt and had receipts to prove it, they stated that "it's not our problem, the debt showed up on my desk, that's why I'm calling you, are you going to pay it or not"? That was the last straw, I contacted all 3 of my credit reporting agencies and disputed the item as a fraudulent charge. I got the finalized report today from Experian (received TransUnion last week) that the charge has been removed off of my credit report. Don't bother arguing with these people, they won't bother working with you. Just go straight to the credit reporting agencies. As of this afternoon, my credit score has gone back up the 36 points that it dropped in the beginning. Good luck everyone!

They are a 3rd party and have to pay the original creditor for your account. Thing nobody realizes is that you only have to pay them what they bought it for. Which may be a total of $25 dollars. Which is voidable because they did not tell you the whole truth. You do not have to pay anyone who was not privy to the original contract. Was there really a contract? Two men must sign a contract. Not a Corporation and a man. Two men to make it legal. Third parties are also not privy to you SSN. so how did they file this?
