Rivermark Community Credit Union - Portland in Portland, OR

Rivermark CU is the worst financial institution I have ever done business with. Their wait times are excruciatingly long, and are exasperated by the fact that there are ALWAYS "bankers" sitting around not helping people. Their lending department is lazy, and never available. Other than the low rates I was able to get there is not one single redeeming quality about this CU. There are MUCH better out there!

Great rates, nice staff but always long lines inside because of the normal industry standard inconvenient banker's hours. Please add hours that give working people the chance to get there.

I'm on a road trip and lost my debit card. I went to this credit union to draw out cash, as they are a member of the credit union network. I was forced to use the machine, as they have a new policy against shared credit union banking. The machine ate my card, and they can't give me cash despite being a member of the credit union network. What's the point if being a shared banking credit union if you aren't sharing with other credit unions? Staff was very polite and professional though, the people were very respectful. Would never go to this credit union again.

So how is it they post certain hours but can close up whenever they want to? I tried to get to the lobby after work 3x to cash a check. The hours posted are till 6 p.m. I get off at 5 and its a 15 minute commute. Each time the lobby was dark or they'd already locked the doors and refused to open. So I Tried The Drive thru...Allegedly open till 8 pm. Waited over 30 mins each time...people had turned their engines off it was so slow. I finally had to move on. Terrible customer service!

Good bank, but need a normal ATM on top of their live teller ATM. Too many times I needed cash and the live teller ATM isn't always there
